My hunch is someone mentioned my name to you, or maybe you stubmbled accross one of my videos, or saw me at a live event. Whatever path you took, I'm glad you're here.
As a disabled artist, poet, and public speaker, I transform life's hardest moments into art, poetry, and stories that remind people they are not alone.
This past year I've been doing deep listening while having conversations with strangers and doing typewriter poetry, on the spot at events. I've been leading writing and poetry workshops to reconnect writers with themselves in order to write what matters. I've been speaking at events to build belonging for those with chronic illness. What I've learned is that people are hungry for human connection, people need a better path to healing, and people are ready to experience something meaningful.

So many of my readers have told me that they didn't think poetry was for them, or that they just never got into poetry. But they deeply connect with my poems because when the world keeps moving while you're navigating pain, grief, struggles and the invisible battles no one else fully understands, it can make you feel unseen. My poetry books exist for those moments. They are words of recognition, validation, resilience, and healing. A gentle reminder that your experience matters, your voice is valid, and that your identity and culture play a part in your healing process.
